We send our carers on an external training course for dementia, The Virtual Dementia Tourhttps://www.training2care.co.uk/virtual-dementia-tour.htm Our carers have found this to be very beneficial.
You will initially go out to meet our lovely clients whilst shadowing a senior carer, they will in turn sign off your competencies. Once you are confident you will begin to visit clients on your own. We have an on call number to provide continued support. We welcome our carers to pop into the office for a cup of tea and a catch-up, additionally we schedule regular weekly meetings to ensure you have contact with the team.
Personal development is important to us at Ann Mason Care and we aim to nurture your development within the company. Those who successfully complete their care certificate and have 6 months satisfactory appraisals will be offered to take level 2 diploma in Health and Social care, this can then progress to level 3
If you think you have the right qualities to become one of our carers please contact us either via the phone 01206233372 or send your cv to recruitment@annmasoncare.com We look forward to hearing from you.
