Ann Mason Care was founded in 2011 and offers personal, palliative, respite and live in care to individuals who would like to remain in their own homes and maintain their lifestyle where possible. Ann Mason Carers are highly trained and compassionate people who get to know their clients to ensure the care given is beneficial both physically and mentally.

Ann Mason Care operates in the East Anglia and Wiltshire regions with their head office based in Holton St Mary, Suffolk. The brand is well known in the area with the majority of referrals due to word of mouth and recommendations.

How We Got Started

Ann Mason founded her home care business in 2011, following a career of over 30 years as a state registered nurse with the last four years providing specialised nursing care to patients within their own homes.

Our high quality standards

Each Ann Mason Carer has comprehensive background checks (DBS) and they are trained and continually assessed to equip them with the skills required and are supported by experienced supervisors to maintain our high quality standards.

Our office

Ann manages her experienced team from modern office premises which are open to visitors from 8am until 5pm Monday to Friday. An out of hours emergency call service operates should the need ever occur

Owner

Ann qualified as a nurse and served as Captain in Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps. Following an extensive career nursing both for the NHS and privately, Ann was passionate to set up her own home care company. Ann is actively involved with providing clinical advice to our clients, their families and our carers to ensure we are delivering the best service we can.

 

Fun Fact – Ann has completed many charity Marathons

Chris Mason

Chris Mason

Owner

Chris has owned his own companies since 1989 Using his experience for running successful companies and Ann’s experience in the care profession they launched Ann Mason Care. Chris manages business strategy and his currently launching a new company which will run alongside Ann Mason Care.

Fun Fact – Chris enjoys being out on the water whether that be fishing or sailing.

Jan Wynn

Jan Wynn

Registered Care Manager

Jan has recently joined the company in May 2018 and has worked within the care sector for 20 years. Starting as a carer developing her career with different roles she is not adverse to learning new things and has recently undertaken QCF level 5 in Health and Social Care.

 

Fun Fact – Regular gym goer, if you are up early enough you may catch her in a spin class.

Marie Park

Marie Park

Area Manager

Marie joined the company in 2015 and manages the provision of live in care in Wiltshire and Somerset from her family home near Bath. Marie has a background in administration and has had many years of working with elderly clients as a qualified personal fitness trainer and nutritionist. Marie is passionate about providing high quality care for Ann Mason clients in her area.

Fun Fact – Marie first met Ann when they were both living in Hong Kong they have been firm friends ever since

Darren Coupland

Darren Coupland

Head Domiciliary Coordinator

Darren joined the company back in October 2013 and successfully completed 12 months as a care worker. Since November 2014 Darren has worked in our coordination department becoming an integral part of the company. He has obtained the self-titled role of “IT Manager”. Darren previously worked in Barbering and brings many years of experience in client care and who is very popular with the clients and carers. Darren continues to develop his career within the company by recently studying for a QCF level 2 in business administration.

 

Fun fact – You might see Darren pounding the streets of Colchester in his bright trainers – Avid long distance runner

Rachel Mason

Rachel Mason

Live in care coordinator

Rachel joined the family company in 2012. After graduating from university with a textiles degree she worked in the fashion industry for 9 years managing and developing websites. Taking a new direction she started as a support worker and now coordinates the live in care.

 

Fun Fact – In 2016 Rachel sailed across the Atlantic in a 60ft clipper achieving one of her life goals

Rebecca Pole

Rebecca Pole

Live in Care Supervisor

Rebecca joined the company in August 2017 and has worked in the care industry for 6 years not long after starting Becky joined us in the office working in coordination and on call. She has recently been promoted to the Live in care supervisor. If you require live in care she will help manage your needs by visiting you and your carer at home.

 

Fact – Becky is a dedicated mother to her little boy
