A day in the life of a Live in Carer

I started working with Ann Mason Care in 2016 as a Live in Carer. The job is very rewarding but it does have its challenges. As a person I like to concentrate on the positive. Below are a few of the many experiences I have gained and continue to gain as a Live in Carer.

–              The challenge of caring for multiple elderly people with dementia has encouraged me to find solutions to ever changing problems and has taught me to deal with difficult situations.

–              Serving home cooked meals, assisting with daily routine, personal care, shopping and visiting medical professionals has helped me to build a strong bond with my clients.
