I first started in care work 10 years ago in a supported living environment but after the birth of my daughter nearly 4 years ago I found Ann Mason Care and moved over to domiciliary care.
Working for Ann Mason Care has given me so many options work wise around childcare, the whole team are very supportive, understanding and it makes it a happy place to work. I thought having a child and trying to work full time would put any career progression on hold, but it has been the complete opposite.
Since I joined the team, I’ve worked my way up, I learn more about the job role daily, completed numerous courses and I feel I’ve grown as a person and a carer. I really enjoy my job.
The main part of my role I enjoy the most is being able to support our clients to stay within their own homes and keep their independency, seeing the difference the “little things” can make to a person make it a very fulfilling role
